The Return

So as everyone knows...I've returned to the Northern Hemisphere. After arriving in Toronto and meeting some friends, I was whisked back to the USA the next night. The border crossing was a bit of a problem, though. The officer was suspicious that I was attempting to illegally immigrate to the United States. And anyone that knows me is well aware that that is just about the last thing I would ever do. Why, when I'm already a citizen of the best country in the world, would I run to this dirty totalitarian hole of a country? Sheesh.

That's not to say the Americans don't do at least a couple things well. Roller coasters, for example. We visited Cedar Point - doubtless the best park I've ever had the pleasure of visiting (Home to my favorite roller coaster - Millenium Force).

I've been spending a lot of time swimming with Lauren and Liam. We also took them fishing last week and Lauren caught a great catfish! She's becoming quite the angler!

Anyways, here are a selection of pictures from the last week, (fishing, swimming, views from the 747 on the flight home). Including a bunch from todays trip to the Butterfly House where I gave the telephoto setting on my camera a major workout. Enjoy!

P.S. I haven't been able to do Any post-editing work on these photos so I warn you all that they may not look great, but I promise they'll look better when I get a chance to do a bit of proper work on them. :) And as for the butterfly shot with the blurred butterfly...yes it was unintentional but I love it...so trippy.
