This weekend we went to a Wedding on the Beach. It was Anthony and Lisa's big day, and it worked out pretty well perfect. The weather was great and the food/service at the reception was excellent. I have a small pile of wedding pictures, and another pile of the area. It's only about a half hour south of Gold Coast, right on the border with New South Wales. So without further waste of time...onto the photos.

First is a shot of the view from our room in the Outrigger Hotel.

Kathryn and I out on the balcony before we went to the ceremony.

K and I flanking the newlyweds.

More beach...the view from Anthony and Lisa's suite.

Took the beach route on the way back - The beaches at Gold Coast were covered with thousands of teenagers because of 'Schoolies'.

Rocks and Water. Yes!

A coolish picture I snapped of downtown the other night from Kangaroo Point. I was just happy I got it to come out so clear without a tripod.

Only a few new pictures to post. Last weekend we went over to Kathryn's parents house for Ree's big 30th birthday party. And then this weekend we went over to Sherwood Park for Ree's 30th birthday party in the park. Yes, 2 parties. One for the family, and one for the friends. Because I'm special I get included in both! This coming weekend we're all headed down to the Gold Coast for a wedding. Should be fun.

There we are, and there's the birthday girl on the far right. Ree is Kathryn's older sister, just in case anyone doesn't know.

One of many cakes - though this one is definitely my favorite. Soooooooo good.

We bbq'd steaks and sausages for the Party in the Park. Then we had more cake.

This is Kathryn proving that she's really just a big kid.

Here I am at the duplex working like a dog. That's John Lucas up there with me on the scaffold, he's the guy that actually owns the place we're building.

Kathryn, Ree and I went up to Kangaroo Point last night to play cards and drink tea while the sun set on the city around us.
