Sydney

Took a road trip down to Sydney for a week. Lots of good times. Spent time walking along the beaches of Cronulla, the cliffs of Kurnell National Park, and of course and entire day in North Sydney - camping out waiting for Sydney's famous fireworks display. It was a jam-packed week of goodness.

I've decided my theme for posting today will be "less talk, more pictures". I think most of the pictures speak well enough for themselves, and don't need the lengthy explanations I tend to get into. My readers know well enough when I'm being artsy and when I'm being an idiot. So, on we go...

The first three photos were all taken along the beach when we went for our walk at Cronulla.

The next lot were taken during a visit to the downtown core for a little bit of sightseeing and shopping.
It important that I mention this - Kathryn is the one that spotted the reflection of the Centrepoint Tower on the building in the above picture. She was very proud of that one :).

Below is the group of us playing BUZZ at Phils house for a bit of a games night. Kathryn and I were the champions - winning 2 out of 3 matches. Go Team!

The next 10 photos are from Kurnell National Park. This is the area where Captain Cook and the Endeavor first sailed into the area now known as Sydney in 1770.

And finally, New Years Eve! We went to North Sydney and camped out for the entire day on the side of the hill with a brilliant view of the Harbour Bridge. To anyone curious about the Diamond and the Coathanger - the coathanger is there because that's the nickname for the bridge, and the diamond is because its the diamond anniversary, 50 years I think, of the bridge.

Thus ends my latest pictorial. There were some good ones in there, I think I was most pleased with the widescreen shots of the bridge while the fireworks were going off. I hope everyone enjoys these shots as much as I enjoyed taking them!!
