Things are going pretty normal over here. Been going hard at the gym, usually right after my shift finishes at work. I haven't missed a day this week, and I've also been experimenting with a different style of workout called "super-sets". Makes for some really good/intense workouts, but also makes for a very sore me the following day.

Todd Bertuzzi is trying to build a fence around his home in Kitchener. But a neighbour complained to city council that he's not allowed to build a tall fence, and that it will lower property values. Bertuzzi just wants some privacy for his family from the gawkers and trespassers. For crying out loud, let the man build a fence!

Bob Goodenow says that the NHLPA isn't looking for sympathy from fans. Of course not, all they want is the money that comes with the fans. If the fans are angry or frustrated; well, it's not his problem.

Finally, Canada is doing well at the Paralympic Games in Athens. 11 Golds and 29 Medals overall after 6 days. Nice to see our Paralympic athletes are doing well. It's a shame there's little to no coverage of the games.

It is a shame, the lack of coverage. I just found out they have a version of volley-ball without a net, where the players sit on the floor. I WANT TO SEE THAT!
But, CBC does show some hours of highlights Saturday during the day I believe. It's better than the U.S., where there is absolutely NO network coverage of the games. How insulting is that?
