I went out last night, and I didn't really have too much to drink. But somehow, that particular quantity made me feel more tipsy than it has any right to. To be honest, I feel rather victimized right about now.

Anyhow, the week at work sucked, and I'm infinitely pleased that it's over.

The NHL lockout was confirmed a few days back. Completely expected, but nevertheless disappointing. Maybe in, oh, a year or so, the owners and players will finally hash out an agreement that doesn't drag the league through financial ruin. I'm just about positive we'll be seeing a smaller league when it finally starts up again. The fanbase in the Southern US isn't dedicated enough to come back to the league after a lengthy lockout. Besides - States that barely know what snow and ice are don't deserve hockey. I guess we'll see what happens though. I'd like to think that at least half of this season could be salvaged. But if it did happen - I would honestly be really surprised.

A shame - 'cause the Canucks were going to take the cup this year.

Stupid weak southern U.S. states. Bring NHL back to every major Canadian city (like Winnipeg)!

Carolina only get 6,000 a game. Winnipeg Goldeyes get more fans then them and where not known as a baseball Nation. We even get more fans then those Expos. True Blue are coming back in the season. White outs will return. Get lost you Southern states. You don't even like are game. Take that US Ola Ola Olae Ola. Europe wooped your ass. European supporter 4life. Also alot of players don't need our deserve the money they are getting paid. You don't need 9 vehicles and a massion to servive in this world you. Maybe the new agreement they will come up with will bring loyalty to clubs by players. Edmonton and well Calgary better now. They won't ditch the club 4money.
