Damn You Portugal! Damn You!

At 7:33 am, Heidi said...: Sorz B. Know how much you wanted them to win. I watched the game, and cheered at the top of my lungs for the boys in orange (well, white yesterday) but it didn't help. From here on in, I'm going to have to cheer for Portugal, but I think the Czech Rep. will win. Who are you going to cheer for now? You're not going to boycott the rest of the games and be bitter are you? You could make like the English and be in denial. My friend went home to England for the weekend, and said nothing has changed. Everyone still has their decorations up and everything. There were of course some arrests and tears during the game and after, but now their just pretending it didn't happen. Oh, and a major safeway-like chain store is offering free eye tests to all who can prove Swedish nationality. Crazy ref. Crazy English!
At 12:49 pm, King Koop said...: Damnit, this Euro turned out to be a total wash. I picked four teams to make it to the final, and I watched them all get bumped. I'm still really excited about Holland's third place match though, so I'll be watching that. I might watch the final too, for no other reason than to see Portugal lose. Bleh.
