The Return Home

Time has come to let the cat out of the bag: James and I have come home early. Yes, it's true ladies and gents, I've returned to Canada after 8 weeks of trekking through Europe.

I'd like to apologize for the deliberately misleading statement in one of my previous posts that named my location as being Belgium. In fact I was in Scotland at the time; but my intentions were noble. James (hopefully - I haven't heard an update yet) was able to surprise his g/f Elena today at her graduation, and I'd like to imagine pandemonium ensued.

I also managed to fix up my wayward computer as well. When I left there were problems, problems that managed to overwhelm my parents and result in a psychotic Internet Explorer program and a subsequent suspension of internet by our ISP. With those challenges facing me, I decided to take the high road and format the computer. And to my complete pleasure, when I reinstalled our ISP software, I discovered that the internet was working just fine. I guess our ban has been rescinded. w00t to that!

So, I'm happy as hell to be back, and promise to continue writing the updates on our tour across Europe, as well as my standard ranting material.
