Yesterday was a pretty decent way to finish off the weekend. After a day trip to Niagara Falls, and then a short stint on the other side of the border so mom could buy a couple plates she's been searching for, we arrived back home just in time for the rain to finally slow down and peter out within a short while afterwards.

Then I downloaded the Desert Combat Final update (361MB), and I must say it kicks a lot of ass. The new maps are awesome, and pretty much everything is just a little bit cooler now. The only problem I have is that my favorite map from the last version (LostVillage) has been mangled by bugs. The map itself is cooler than ever, but walking through walls and randomly dying within seconds after spawning from the main base rather takes away from the enjoyment. Here's hoping for a fix to come out shortly!

I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind last night. Very cool. It's pretty different - not a typical love story - and that is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. I recommend it to anyone who has even the slightest inclination to see it.
