Carnivale - oh, how I love this show. I don't think I've enjoyed a program on TV this much for a long, long time. In fact, Carnivale occupies the approx 1 hour of time per week that I set aside specifically to watch TV. It's like an infection spreading through my body - engineering my thought process in a way that has me crying out "The Final Battle Draws Near" in the middle of the night, as I wake up in a cold sweat after confronting visions of Brother Justin's black eyes burning into my unguarded soul.

Am I being over-dramatic? Maybe. The point is it's just that damn good.
